Photo by Andy Redmond \/ C&amp;S Media<\/p>\n<p>By David Wolman<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/murphymonitor.com\/cdn-cgi\/l\/email-protection\" class=\"__cf_email__\" data-cfemail=\"83f0f3ecf1f7f0c3e0f0eee6e7eae2f7e6fbe2f0ade0ecee\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">[email\u00a0protected]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plano East improved to 3-3 in district play with two crucial wins this week: a 5-3 road win over Prosper Rock Hill on March 11 and a 5-4 triumph over crosstown rival Plano on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Kayleigh Miller came through in the clutch Friday, with a walk-off RBI double in the bottom of the seventh inning to win the game for the Lady Panthers. Julia Wilson, who reached on a one-out single, scored.<\/p>\n<p>The hit capped a big night at the plate for Miller, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two doubles.<\/p>\n<p>Savannah Leonard worked around eight hits to earn the win.<\/p>\n<p>Plano East overcame deficits of 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3.<\/p>\n<p>Against Rock Hill, Emerson Bailey hit an RBI single in the fifth that put Plano East ahead 4-1. Her hit was part of a three-run inning that broke a 1-1 tie.
