HUMBLE, Texas \u2013 UT Arlington men’s golf is entering the final stretch of the season, gearing up for the All-American Intercollegiate hosted by Houston. It is the first of three remaining regular season tournaments for the Mavericks.<\/p>\n

UTA is coming off a 13th-place finish at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational in San Diego. The Mavericks carded 302-298-293 for a 29-over-par 893 for the tournament.<\/p>\n

The lineup remains the same for UTA with one addition. Jen chie Huang will compete in the tournament as an individual. His score will not count towards UTA’s total.<\/p>\n

\n \n<\/p>\n


\n\tContinuing to be among the top finishers for UTA is Sinha, whose T38th at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational was the second-best mark on the team. The freshman improved his score each round, shooting 75-73-72 for a 4-over 220 at the tournament. <\/p>\n

Ajay Morris<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tTwo strokes back of Sinha at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational was Morris who also recorded a 1-over 73 and an even-par 72 in his final two rounds. The freshman finished tied for 52nd. <\/p>\n

Michael Chevalier<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tChevalier finished alone in 87th at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational. The Grapevine-native shot an 18-over 234 at the event. <\/p>\n

Nicholas Lyman<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tLyman is coming off one of his strongest outings of the season at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational. The freshman placed in a tie for 24th \u2014 the best finish for any UTA player \u2014 after carding a 1-over 217 for the tournament. Lyman was the only Maverick to record a round under par, shooting a 2-under 70 over his final 18 holes. The Arizona-native also had the only UTA eagle, coming on the par-5 second hole in the first round. <\/p>\n

Matthew Broder<\/a><\/p>\n


\n\tRounding out the Mavericks lineup at the R.E. Lamkin Invitational was Broder. The junior finished tied for 92nd with a 22-over 238 over his three rounds.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Jen chie Huang<\/p>\n


\n\tHuang is back in the lineup for the first time since the Military City Collegiate. The sophomore finished alone in 68th with a 31-over 247 at the tournament. <\/p>\n
