Tea Around Town\u2014a double-decker tea tasting and tour bus experience\u2014announced the arrival of a permanent location in San Antonio on March 10, according to a company news release.<\/p>\n
Ryan Prescott, Tea Around Town director of content production, social media and creative marketing, said San Antonio is a city defined by culture, history and tradition\u2014which is part of what makes it so memorable.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted the experience to reflect that, with a curated route that highlights downtown, the cultural corridor and the historic character that makes San Antonio distinct. It\u2019s tailored for this community, and we\u2019re excited to welcome San Antonio aboard,\u201d Prescott said in the release.<\/p>\n
How it works<\/p>\n
Attendees receive a 90-minute scenic tour of San Antonio while also participating in a traditional tea room experience. The tour begins at 849 E. Commerce St. in downtown San Antonio.<\/p>\n
Patrons get to drink and eat a curated selection of tea and baked good while receiving live entertainment and a guided narration on the tour.<\/p>\n
