{"id":21012,"date":"2025-10-25T18:15:10","date_gmt":"2025-10-25T18:15:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/21012\/"},"modified":"2025-10-25T18:15:10","modified_gmt":"2025-10-25T18:15:10","slug":"mercedes-benz-loses-control-during-rain-on-highway-90-hospitalized-with-major-injuries-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/21012\/","title":{"rendered":"Mercedes-Benz loses control during rain on Highway 90, hospitalized with major injuries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; The driver of a Mercedes-Benz has been arrested for DWI after losing control during heavy storms on US Highway 90.<\/p>\n<p>Just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, police were called to the scene of a single-vehicle crash on US Highway 90, near Leon Creek on the  West Side.<\/p>\n<p>According to investigators, the driver was traveling westbound in the main lanes of the highway when they lost control of the vehicle and side-swiped the guardrails.<\/p>\n<p>A passenger, identified as a 19-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with severe injuries as a result of the crash.<\/p>\n<p>The driver of the vehicle was found to be intoxicated at the time of the crash and was taken into custody. <\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
