The Arlington mayor and state representatives were in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>STVT\u2019s Automotive Service program prepares students for an entry-level position as an automotive service technician through classroom and hands-on training in engine repair, vehicular inspection, diagnostic procedures, preventative maintenance services, transmission repair, basic electric and more. <\/p>\n<p>Students will prepare to sit for the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) exams and EPA 609 A\/C Technician certification by graduation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe addition of the Automotive Service Technician program enhances the range of training paths we offer students at STVT,\u201d Kimberly Knox, President at STVT Arlington said. \u201cWe\u2019re proud to expand our offerings in the automotive services industry workforce.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Diesel Heavy Truck Technician (DHTT) Program is designed to prepare the student for a career in the diesel medium-heavy truck technician industry. Classes combine theory with practical application of physical job skills. <\/p>\n<p>Students will be taught by industry-experienced instructors in a hands-on classroom lab, gaining practical experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
