Repairs are expected to be completed Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>TxDOT reduces I-27 to one lane near downtown Lubbock<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Texas Department of Transportation has reduced northbound traffic on I-27 to one lane between Broadway and Main Street while crews make repairs. The 19th Street on-ramp is also closed during the work.<\/p>\n<p>I-27 construction extends into Swisher County<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">TxDOT crews have also begun work on I-27 in Swisher County, working southward toward Hale County. Single and double lane closures are expected, along with overnight lane closures. Work is expected to continue through August.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Drivers are asked to slow down and drive carefully through all work zones.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KCBD.
