Election day is Saturday, May 2, with early voting starting April 20 and running through April 28. The last day to register to vote is April 2.<\/p>\n

What will be your top priorities if you are elected?<\/p>\n

I will continue to focus on providing high quality valued core services such as public safety, parks, roads, water, and investment in our downtown while maintaining a low tax rate.\u00a0We as a city will continue focus on our strategic goals with being a financially sound city as goal number 1.<\/p>\n

What uniquely qualifies you for this position?<\/p>\n

I have 15 years of experience and will not have to learn the job on day 1.\u00a0Experience matters in this race, and I believe my track record these past 9 years shows that.<\/p>\n

What do you see as the greatest challenge facing Round Rock, and how will you address it?<\/p>\n

Our growth is always the biggest challenge.\u00a0We will continue to plan just like we have for the past 9 years.\u00a0We are planting the seeds for the next generation to enjoy the shade.<\/p>\n

What is something you want Round Rock residents to know about you?<\/p>\n

That serving as Mayor for the past 9 years has been my greatest honor.\u00a0I have always said I am not a perfect leader but I will always do my best to be better each day for our citizens.<\/p>\n

Family recreation, support of local businesses, no more data centers.<\/p>\n

I won the primary for HD19.<\/p>\n

What do you see as the greatest challenge facing Round Rock, and how will you address it?<\/p>\n

Managing growth while protecting the character of our community is Round Rock\u2019s greatest challenge. I will focus on responsible development that supports families, protects local businesses, and ensures large projects like data centers don\u2019t overwhelm our infrastructure or quality of life.<\/p>\n

What is something you want Round Rock residents to know about you?<\/p>\n

I have been serving my community for 10 years, always helping those in need. I believe in putting residents first and making decisions that benefit families and small businesses.
