AUSTIN (KXAN) \u2014 The presence of an upper-level high to our west will keep Central Texas weather dry for several days.<\/p>\n

Another sunny day is part of today\u2019s forecast. A record will likely be set this afternoon with the forecast high of 94\u00b0. The record is 91\u00b0 first set in 1917 and tied in 1952.<\/p>\n

Wind speeds\/gusts will increase during the day with gusts as high as 20 to 25 mph this afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n

Drier air filters in on the north wind aloft with the humidity falling to the teens this afternoon.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow morning starts out clear with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. A sunny day will find highs returning to the low to mid 90s. The record high for March 22 (tomorrow) is 96\u00b0.<\/p>\n

Wind gusts up to 20 to 25 mph are also forecast Sunday. A higher wildfire risk is issued for Sunday.<\/p>\n

More of a southeast wind ahead of a cold front drops highs back to the mid to upper 80s Monday and Tuesday. Another heat record is possible Thursday with a forecast high of 92\u00b0. The record is 91\u00b0 for March 26 set in 2022.<\/p>\n
