However, operators are still required to comply with all applicable city zoning and ordinance requirements and return to their commissary daily.<\/p>\n<p>Mobile Food Vendor Permitting Changes<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/capitol.texas.gov\/BillLookup\/Text.aspx?LegSess=88R&amp;Bill=HB2878\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Click Here To Open New Window\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">House Bill 2878<\/a>, passed by the 88th Texas State Legislature, shifts all permitting and inspection authority for mobile food vendors operating under an annual permit to\u00a0Tarrant County Public Health (TCPH).<\/p>\n<p>Stationary Pushcart<\/p>\n<p>Stationary pushcart operations are permitted by TCPH however, operations within the City of Arlington are restricted by zoning regulations.\u00a0 To check city zoning requirements, call\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.arlingtontx.gov\/Business\/Health-Services\/Health-Services\/tel:8174596502\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">817-459-6502<\/a>\u00a0and speak with the Planner of the Day.\u00a0 All mobile units including stationary pushcarts are required to report back to the central preparation
