Plano West<\/a> extended their winning streak to three on Saturday, bumping them up to 10-8-1. They blew past the McKinney Boyd Broncos<\/a> 15-4. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.<\/p>\n Emma Kesler<\/a> looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.<\/p>\n At the plate, Plano West let Brooke Reasoner<\/a> and Lola Brown<\/a> run wild. Reasoner went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run, while Brown went 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and two RBI. Reasoner has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last four times she’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Jennings<\/a>, who went 2-for-5 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Plano West always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .537. That was just more of the same: they’ve now posted an OBP of .537 or higher in three consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n As for McKinney Boyd, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. For those keeping track at home, that’s the biggest loss they have suffered since February 21st.<\/p>\n On McKinney Boyd’s side, Kaylee McGilvray<\/a> was cooking despite her team’s loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Josie Knight<\/a> was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Plano West will face off against Plano East at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves’ pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for McKinney Boyd, they will challenge Prosper at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they’ve allowed 7.16 runs per game on average), something the Broncos will no doubt try to take advantage of.<\/p>\n
