SWAT standoff; roads reopening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TRAVIS COUNTY, Texas \u2014 A suspect is in custody after SWAT team members responded to a barricaded subject call in eastern Travis County early Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>The Travis County Sheriff&#8217;s Office reported around 4:35 a.m. that SWAT was working a barricaded subject call on SH 130 near US 290.<\/p>\n<p>TCSO said that the situation began after a deputy attempted a traffic stop just after 3 a.m., which evolved into the driver evading arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Southbound lanes of SH 130 were shut down while the Sheriff&#8217;s Office were at the scene.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/cbsaustin.com\/news\/local\/ntsb-new-details-on-drivers-health-phone-use-sleep-before-deadly-march-2025-i-35-crash\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">ALSO | NTSB: New details on driver\u2019s health, phone use, sleep before deadly March 2025 I-35 crash<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Comment with Bubbles<\/p>\n<p>BE THE FIRST TO COMMENT<\/p>\n<p>TCSO reported that the subject was detained without incident at around 4:45 a.m., and that deputies were reopening roadways in the area.
