(KLTV) \u2014 Former Bullard Panther Dylan Malone had four hits in Western Texas\u2019 18-14 win over New Mexico Military Institute in the second game of a doubleheader split on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Batting second and starting in left field, the freshman batted 4-for-5 with a triple, walk, two RBIs and four runs. It was Malone\u2019s third triple of the season and he has 24 RBIs through 29 games and a .419 batting average.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Western Texas lost the first game 8-0. Haden Johnson of Harmony pitched one inning, giving up four earned runs off two hits and three walks.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Western Texas (8-22, 5-7) hosts Midland on Friday for a doubleheader at noon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 KLTV.
