Drivers should expect longer commutes are advised to find alternate routes during this time.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This closure is part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfaa.com\/article\/traffic\/the-southeast-connector-project-halfway-done-expect-more-traffic-on-i-20-i-820\/287-b0cc2b4a-4e18-47da-b20c-c8e6ea603a8a\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Southeast Connector Project;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" data-yga=\"{&quot;yLinkElement&quot;:&quot;context_link&quot;,&quot;yModuleName&quot;:&quot;content-canvas&quot;,&quot;yLinkText&quot;:&quot;Southeast Connector Project&quot;}\" class=\"link \">Southeast Connector Project<\/a>, a $1.6 billion project expected to be completed by February 2028.
