{"id":217411,"date":"2026-03-24T01:45:08","date_gmt":"2026-03-24T01:45:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/217411\/"},"modified":"2026-03-24T01:45:08","modified_gmt":"2026-03-24T01:45:08","slug":"funeral-services-announced-for-ronnie-pointy-boots-mathis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/217411\/","title":{"rendered":"Funeral services announced for Ronnie \u201cPointy Boots\u201d Mathis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Corpus Christi icon Ronnie \u201cPointy Boots\u201d Mathis will be laid to rest this week, with services announced by family friend Pete Trevino.<\/p>\n<p>CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Funeral services have been announced for Corpus Christi icon Ronnie \u201cPointy Boots\u201d Mathis, according to longtime friend and Big Bertha Foundation founder Pete Trevino.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/texasbullymob.trevino\/posts\/pfbid02H31JEneS463ghBj5htkhtb52SiBgUxzDivgguZfqwnFHopa7KPxcwqCYyiWoQ3E1l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Trevino shared a flyer on social media<\/a> detailing the arrangements.<\/p>\n<p>Visitation is scheduled for April 1 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Maxwell P.
