\nTexas A&M (22-9) boasts a 108-15 all-time record against Sam Houston (21-14), including a 60-5 mark at home. The Maroon & White have won the previous four meetings and are 8-2 in the last 10 matchups. Texas A&M run-ruled Sam Houston, 10-0, in five innings last season at Davis Diamond. Mya Perez<\/a> paced the offense, going 2-for-2 with a double and a home run, totaling six RBI and scoring two runs.

\nThe Aggies own a 176-55 (.762) record at Davis Diamond since it opened April 27, 2018, and are 12-2 at home this season. The 12th Man set a Davis Diamond attendance record of 2,880 in the fourth home game of the season on Feb. 7. Texas A&M ranks sixth nationally and fifth in the SEC, averaging 2,125 fans per game in 2026.

\nThe Maroon & White swept Kentucky in their SEC home-opening series, outscoring the Wildcats 26-9. Kelsey Mathis<\/a> paced the team with a .625 batting average, while Mathis, Frankie Vrazel<\/a> and Ariel Kowalewski<\/a> each recorded five hits and at least one hit in every game of the series. Micaela Wark<\/a> added a pair of home runs and led the team with seven RBI, while Mya Perez<\/a> posted a team-best .750 on-base percentage with eight walks. Texas A&M batted .400 over the three-game set and registered double-digit hits in consecutive games to close out the series.

\nSidne Peters<\/a> made two appearances, earning the win each time. She totaled 10.0 innings with 12 strikeouts and held opposing batters to a .139 average. Sydney Lessentine<\/a> was the lone Aggie pitcher to appear in all three games, earning one win and a save. Lessentine tossed a complete game to clinch the series, allowing just one run while striking out three.
