\nMadelyn Day is a writer and community advocate known for her deep-rooted compassion. Before the pandemic, she dedicated her time to transporting rescue dogs from high-kill shelters in Houston to forever homes in Austin. Today, she remains active in her local community, providing food and pet supplies to those experiencing homelessness.<\/p>\n

When she isn’t weaving tales of mystery, Day can be found stargazing, crocheting, or exploring her lifelong passions for science and history.
