Travelers at major Texas airports <\/a>are facing long TSA <\/a>wait times as a partial government shutdown overlaps with spring break travel.\u00a0<\/p>\n Airports <\/a>across the state \u2014 including Austin, Houston and Dallas-Fort Worth \u2014 have warned of extended security <\/a>lines, with some travelers reporting waits of several hours.<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n The disruptions stem from a lapse in Department of Homeland Security funding in mid-February, which has left Transportation Security Administration employees unpaid for weeks.
