Still a bit warmer than normal, those more spring-like conditions didn\u2019t last long, with the forecast high for Wednesday returning to 88 degrees.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">The National Weather Service\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/2026\/02\/13\/a-behind-the-scenes-look-at-the-d-fw-office-of-the-national-weather-service\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/news\/weather\/2026\/02\/13\/a-behind-the-scenes-look-at-the-d-fw-office-of-the-national-weather-service\/\">Fort Worth office<\/a> expects similar heat on Thursday. Combined with higher wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour, a grass fire threat is possible.<\/p>\n<p class=\"body-text-paragraph\">Another brief hiatus from the warmer weather is forecast for this weekend, with a cold front moving in Friday.
