{"id":219850,"date":"2026-03-25T14:48:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T14:48:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/219850\/"},"modified":"2026-03-25T14:48:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T14:48:07","slug":"local-law-enforcement-recognized-for-response-to-2024-homicide","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/219850\/","title":{"rendered":"Local law enforcement recognized for response to 2024 homicide"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four local police officers are being recognized for their actions in response to a Plano murder case in the fall of 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Deputies Tyler Gianotti and Chris Limberg of the Kendall County Sheriff\u2019s Office, along with Officers David Svehla and Daniel Reyes from the Plano Police Department, were recognized by the Illinois FOP Labor Council for their bravery in the case.<\/p>\n<p>The pursuit of the suspect ended in Aurora, where he fired a shotgun at officers, who then returned fire, killing him.
