{"id":219996,"date":"2026-03-25T16:49:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T16:49:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/219996\/"},"modified":"2026-03-25T16:49:07","modified_gmt":"2026-03-25T16:49:07","slug":"alternative-rock-band-blue-october-celebrates-20th-anniversary-of-foiled-with-san-antonio-show-north-american-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/219996\/","title":{"rendered":"Alternative rock band Blue October celebrates 20th anniversary of \u2018Foiled\u2019 with San Antonio show, North American tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">SAN ANTONIO \u2013 Blue October, an alternative rock band out of Houston, is planning nearly a dozen shows across the Lone Star State, including a winter tour date in San Antonio, as a part of a North American tour. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The band is scheduled to arrive and perform on Dec. 12 in the Alamo City for a concert at Boeing Center at Tech Port. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">In all, Blue October is planning 11 shows in Texas, beginning with the tour\u2019s first two dates in Abilene (Oct. 22) and Lubbock (Oct. 23); back-to-back dates in Irving (Nov. 27-28) and concluding the tour with mid-December dates in Beaumont (Dec. 10), Austin (Dec. 11), Hidalgo (Dec. 13), Corpus Christi (Dec. 17) and Houston (Dec. 18-19). <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">According to a Live Nation news release, the tour will serve as the band\u2019s celebration of the 20th anniversary of its \u201cFoiled\u201d album, which was released in 2006.
