This year is our third year, and it&#8217;s next weekend, April 4th and fifth. So we&#8217;ve got over 30 bookstores participating and we&#8217;re excited to do it,\u201d Zhang said.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"Day One Kickoff \u2014{ }Austin Texas Book Trail{ }\" class=\"ImageEmbed_image__qZBo_\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/8300db8e-a317-4a50-9f3c-10c3b267ab58-DayOneKickoffAustinTexasBookTrail2.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Day One Kickoff \u2014{ }Austin Texas Book Trail{ }<\/p>\n<p>Often compared to a bar crawl for bookworms, the event invites participants to visit multiple local bookstores, discover new reads, and engage with fellow readers. The event has seen significant growth this year. \u201cSo this year we have 36, which is incredible to have in this area in and around Austin. Last year we had 29.
