On Saturday, ‘No Kings’ protests are scheduled to take place around the country, including here in North Texas. Here’s what you need to know. <\/p>\n

TEXAS, USA \u2014 “No Kings” protests are once again scheduled to take place\u00a0across the U.S.<\/a>, including here in North Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The protests were scheduled in opposition to President Donald Trump’s administration and its policies, particularly changes to the Department of Homeland Security and the conflict in Iran.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The first official ‘No Kings’ protests were held Saturday<\/a>, June 14, and were organized during a military parade in Washington for the 250th anniversary of the Army, which coincides with Trump’s birthday, as the Associated Press reported.<\/a> Since then, several more<\/a> nationwide protests have been held. Thousands of people showed up to the many protests back in June, WFAA previously reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n
