The new administrators both announced their new roles on LinkedIn this week after Texas Education Agency officials <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/local\/education\/article315170799.html\">unveiled the appointment of Licata<\/a> and the Board of Managers, formalizing a state takeover and replacing previous district leadership.<\/p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Licata said <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.star-telegram.com\/news\/local\/education\/article315166484.html\">during a press conference<\/a> there would be \u201cupper-level changes and reduction immediately,\u201d but he didn\u2019t expect the staffing changes to impact the classroom at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Soliz <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/posts\/daniel-soliz-ed-d-9874736a_i-am-humbled-and-honored-to-serve-the-fort-activity-7442265001207341056-Fydx?utm_source=social_share_send&amp;utm_medium=member_desktop_web&amp;rcm=ACoAACjiYNYBkywcF1pt0HtyUnYSnB7TK10cNVo\">announced on LinkedIn<\/a> his transition into the deputy superintendent role after previously serving as the central division chief for Houston ISD, another Texas school district currently under state control. Fort Worth ISD                                                                                        <\/p>\n<p>Kushner was recognized as assistant principal of the year by Broward County Public Schools in 2021 and describes himself as being \u201crecognized for turnaround leadership, building strong school cultures, and developing people through mentorship and leadership growth,\u201d according to his LinkedIn. He holds a master\u2019s degree in educational leadership and a doctorate degree in education and organizational leadership.<\/p>\n<p>A <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"Follow nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/v1754066293\/fwisdorg\/fu4kp62emoe90nzvvko2\/FWISD_OrgCharts2025-26_July312025_2.pdf\">Fort Worth ISD organizational chart<\/a> for July 2025 lists Priscila Dilley as chief of schools under former Superintendent Karen Molinar.
