{"id":222157,"date":"2026-03-26T23:00:26","date_gmt":"2026-03-26T23:00:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/222157\/"},"modified":"2026-03-26T23:00:26","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T23:00:26","slug":"collin-college-to-keep-current-tuition-rates-for-fall-2026-semester","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/222157\/","title":{"rendered":"Collin College to keep current tuition rates for fall 2026 semester"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.collin.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Collin College<\/a> students can expect their tuition prices to remain the same after college leaders approved next year&#8217;s tuition rates.<\/p>\n<p>The college&#8217;s board of trustees approved the tuition rates during a March 24 <a href=\"https:\/\/meetings.boardbook.org\/Documents\/WebViewer\/1010?file=8eef1ba2-578c-4f89-ae56-29a0c1125c5a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">meeting<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am proud to work with a Board that prioritizes keeping college costs manageable,&#8221; District President Neil Matkin said in a March 25 news release. &#8220;College degrees open many doors for our students, but they must be able to afford to complete their education. By maintaining low tuition rates, we are helping them achieve their goals.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A closer look<\/p>\n<p>The college&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.collin.edu\/student-financial-services\/tuition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">tuition rates<\/a> will remain:<\/p>\n<p>$67 per credit hour for in-district residents$127 per credit hour for out-of-district residents$202 per credit hour for out-of-state or out-of-country residentsThe college&#8217;s in-district tuition rate is the lowest in the state. Collin College serves approximately 60,000 credit and continuing education students annually and offers more than 200 degrees and certificates, the release states.
