Wouldn’t it be great if we could better address some of the recurring litter issues in our community?

While most littering is hard to trace, there are a few situations where the source is visible.

One example is the number of political signs that remain around San Antonio after election cycles.

Finding a way to ensure these are cleared more promptly could help keep our city looking its best.

China is the global leader in wind energy.

To quote a recent Wall Street Journal letter, “By 2024 the world’s top four turbine manufacturers were all Chinese. China itself went from virtually no domestic offshore wind farms two decades ago to hosting about half of global capacity.”

Our current president claims they’re ugly, noisy and harmful to birds.

China’s trend is way up on renewables and nuclear power, too. Bottom line: China has long realized that the world could not long depend on oil. This is called long-term thinking.

That’s not a Trump thing to do.

His education on wind energy apparently stopped at eyeballing the offshore farms near his Scottish golf resort.

Trump’s use of constant impulsiveness will lead to calamity everywhere.

As a proud Texan, I’m getting very tired of endless gun debates. Democrats move to Texas and immediately complain they feel unsafe.

During our elections that same bluster always grows: Gun control now.
