{"id":224388,"date":"2026-03-28T09:19:14","date_gmt":"2026-03-28T09:19:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/224388\/"},"modified":"2026-03-28T09:19:14","modified_gmt":"2026-03-28T09:19:14","slug":"man-accused-of-2023-murder-of-woman-in-hotel-room-found-guilty","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/224388\/","title":{"rendered":"Man accused of 2023 murder of woman in hotel room found guilty"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>SAN ANTONIO &#8211; A man accused of killing a woman inside a hotel room has now been found guilty of murder.<\/p>\n<p>Albert Casanova was convicted of the death of Briann Hernandez after a jury deliberated for about four days before reaching a verdict.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the shooting happened around 11:11 p.m. on May 3, 2023, at an OYO Hotel in the 2400 block of Southwest Loop 410.<\/p>\n<p>According to an arrest affidavit, Casanova and Hernandez had rented a room together. At some point during their stay, investigators say Casanova shot Hernandez in the head before fleeing the scene in her vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>A hotel manager later entered the room that night and discovered Hernandez dead.
