After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Allen, Plano<\/a> was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Princeton Panthers<\/a> with a sharp 14-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won seven matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday’s blowout was nothing new.<\/p>\n Plano got a massive performance out of Aubrey Zhang<\/a>, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Miles<\/a>, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.<\/p>\n Plano has been performing well recently as they’ve won three of their last four games. That’s provided a nice bump to their 13-9-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Princeton, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.<\/p>\n Coming up, Plano will face off against Plano West at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats’ pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wolves have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Princeton, they will take on McKinney at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they’ve allowed 12.9 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.<\/p>\n
