Get excited! Rain is coming back to the Coastal Bend! A weak cold front on Saturday morning is to thank for a few showers. This won’t amount to much, but it’s very much appreciated! Once the clouds clear on Saturday afternoon the sunshine takes temps to cooler highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s. The cool-down is brief as our neighborhoods return to the low and middle 80s on Sunday. Expect gusty conditions all weekend. Wind gusts to 35 mph during height of the afternoon. <\/p>\n
If you miss out on the rain this weekend, don’t despair. This event is an ‘appetizer’ to the ‘main course’ later next week. I’m expecting increasing showers on Wednesday and Thursday. There’s a good chance that the rainy days stretch into the following weekend, so dust off those umbrellas and raincoats!<\/p>\n
