What to know"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A highway in Central Texas has been shut down after a reported crash in the area that is causing drivers to seek alternate routes early Sunday morning, March 29.<\/p>\n<p>The Austin Police Department released information on social media at a bout 7:10 a.m. Sunday to alert driver&#8217;s on traffic conditions following the crash. &#8220;The southbound lanes of Research Bvld are currently closed between Great Hills Trail and Mopac due to a fatality collision. Expect significant delays in the area,&#8221; they said on social media.<\/p>\n<p>The Texas Department of Transportation in Austin added where traffic is diverting from in the area should drivers end up near the crash if they were unable to avoid it. &#8220;Southbound US 183 before Loop 1\/Mopac, all lanes closed due to a crash. Traffic is diverting to the frontage road at the Loop 360\/Capital of Texas Highway exit,&#8221; they said.\u00a0There was no immediate information as to what led to the crash, how many people were\u00a0involved in the crash, or how many have died as a result of the crash at time of publication.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story.
