{"id":226026,"date":"2026-03-29T17:41:06","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T17:41:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/226026\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T17:41:06","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T17:41:06","slug":"plano-arts-week-to-conclude-with-ticketed-guided-tours","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/226026\/","title":{"rendered":"Plano Arts Week to conclude with ticketed, guided tours"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This year&#8217;s Plano Arts Week finishes off with guided tours of arts destinations around Downtown Plano Arts District.<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planoartsweek.com\/online-schedule\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Plano Arts Week<\/a>, a citywide celebration of Plano\u2019s arts and culture scene, is scheduled from April 11 to April 18.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the week, art-centered events like\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rcttheatre.com\/shows.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Producers\u00a0at the Courtyard Theatre<\/a> and Plano Symphony Orchestra\u2019s\u00a0Carmina Burana\u00a0will go on throughout the city.<\/p>\n<p>On the last day of the celebration, April 18, there will be a night-long performance at McCall Plaza with Plano Metropolitan Ballet, Gotta Dance\u2019s Tap Ensemble, Natyasthalam Vidyalaya and more.<\/p>\n<p>At the same time, <a href=\"https:\/\/planomagazine.com\/gene-dillard-cap-pres\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Collaborative Arts of Plano<\/a> will present an immersive art experience in the Downtown Plano Arts District, including a pop-up art exhibit and sale presented by Plano Art Association and ticketed guided \u201cdiscovery tours.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>From 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., tours will take participants through a variety of art venues throughout Downtown Plano, like art studios, galleries, museums, public art installations and other creative landmarks. After a walking portion of the tour, a special DART bus will bring participants to destinations on the outer edges of the district.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.planoartassociation.org\/shop-exhibit\/p\/odysseytour\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> for guided tours are $20, and self-guided are $10.<\/p>\n<p>Stops along the tour will include:<\/p>\n<p>Sculpture<br \/>Violinist (on 15th from Central)<br \/>Dancer (on 15th from Central)<br \/>Singer (on 15th from Central)<br \/>Guitarist (on 15th from Central)<br \/>Conductor (on 15th from Central)<br \/>Pianist (on 15th from Central)<br \/>DeBusk sculpture &amp; Art Through the Park<br \/>Mule sculpture at DART station<br \/>ArtCentre Sculpture Garden<\/p>\n<p>Art Galleries and Studios<br \/>ArtCentre of Plano<br \/>Courtyard Theater Gallery<br \/>Holman Pottery<br \/>Rail Station Studios<br \/>Ten20 Gallery<\/p>\n<p>Art Show \u2013 Plano Art Association<br \/>Participating Artists<\/p>\n<p>Historical Plaques<br \/>Embedded in various buildings and sidewalks around downtown<br \/>Murals<br \/>Douglas Mural: Tracks of Our Past and Future<br \/>Echowave<br \/>Historical Mural (Vickory Park)<br \/>W.
