A man was stabbed and killed<\/a> while grocery shopping Friday night in Garland,<\/a> police say.<\/p>\n

Officers responded to the Fiesta Mart in the 2900 block of South First Street shortly after 8 p.m. The 39-year-old victim, Franky Seleyma Arredondo Barrios, died later at a hospital from a stab wound, police said.<\/p>\n

A suspect, identified as 32-year-old Juan Pedro Reyes, of Garland, turned himself in Saturday, police said. Reyes is being held at the Garland Detention Center. Bond has not been set.<\/p>\n

Police said they are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.<\/p>\n
