Canyon junior Connor Cockrell was sixth at 11.11 seconds and Canyon sophomore Dillon Hagood was seventh at 11.29 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys 200-meters, West Plains senior Lawson Betancourt placed third with a time of 22.58 seconds. West Plains&#8217; Aikman followed in sixth at 23.10 seconds and West Plains senior Stephen Stotts was eighth at 23.75 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Canyon senior Emmitt Stewart took first place in the Division 2 Boys 400-meters with a time of 48.10 seconds. Canyon senior Baylor West was second at 48.32 seconds and Canyon senior Jacob Asbil was third at 49.30 seconds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys 800-meters, Canyon senior Aidon Tijerina placed first with a time of 2:05.28, while West Plains senior Brayton Foster was second at 2:05.71 and Canyon senior Ethan Labue was third at 2:06.35. Canyon freshman Omar Rosales finished fifth at 2:10.38, West Plains senior Tre Bland was 11th at 2:18.98 and West Plains junior Kevin Martinez was 12th at 2:32.93.<\/p>\n<p>Later in the Division 2 Boys 1,600-meters, West Plains junior Noah Holland turned in a first-place time of 4:29.58. Canyon junior Grady Simmons was second at 4:31.10 and West Plains sophomore Robert Vartabedian was third at 4:32.68. Canyon&#8217;s Tijerina finished fourth at 4:40.24 and Canyon senior Jamison Kirton placed fifth at 4:42.17. West Plains&#8217; Foster capped the race in seventh place at 5:02.16.<\/p>\n<p>Canyon and West Plains took five and of the six placements in the Division 2 Boys 3,200-meters. Canyon&#8217;s Simmons won the race with a first-place time of 9:43.46, followed by West Plains&#8217; Holland in second at 9:46.06 and West Plains&#8217; Vartabedian in third at 9:59.35. Canyon&#8217;s Kirton finished fourth with a time of 10:11.12 and West Plains junior Caisen Clark was sixth at 11:16.22.<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys 110-meter hurdles, Canyon junior Connor Armstrong placed second with a time of 15.32 seconds. Canyon senior Boyd Renner was sixth at 16.33 seconds, while West Plains junior Rylan Reyes was seventh at 16.42 seconds and West Plains senior Bryce Barnett was eighth at 16.76 seconds.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys 300-meter hurdles, Canyon&#8217;s Renner finished fifth at 42.40 seconds and Canyon&#8217;s Armstrong was sixth at 42.45 seconds. West Plains&#8217; Reyes also placed seventh at 42.98 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>Canyon&#8217;s 400-meter relay took fourth place with a time of 43.16 seconds and West Plains was sixth at 43.94.<\/p>\n<p>Canyon&#8217;s 800-meter relay finished third with a time of 1:31.21, while West Plains was fifth at 1:32.94.<\/p>\n<p>Canyon stole the show in the 1,600-meter relay with an impressive time of 3:17.34. West Plains finished third at 3:28.15.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys High Jump, West Plains senior Brycen Williams placed first at 6-8.00 and Canyon senior Callahan Munsell was second at 6-2.00.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys Long Jump, Canyon senior Jordan Webber placed third at 19-5.50 and West Plains&#8217; Reyes was fourth at 19-5.00. West Plains junior Slade Russell was ninth at 18-10.00, Canyon junior Jackson Campbell was 13th at 16-11.00 and West Plains senior Jackson Driver was 15th at 15-10.50.<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys Triple Jump, Canyon&#8217;s Webber was second at 39-7.25 and Canyon&#8217;s Campbell was third at 38-3.25.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys Discus, Canyon senior Kelton Burgoon won the event with a first-place throw of 171-10.00. Canyon freshman Colt McKinley was third at 149-4.00, West Plains junior Cash Loftin was fourth at 141-4.00 and West Plains sophomore Grant Leinen was fifth at 140-9.00. West Plains junior Jason Guerrero was eighth at 127-8.00 and Canyon sophomore Miles Renner was 12th at 120-4.00.<\/p>\n<p>In the Division 2 Boys Shot Put, Canyon&#8217;s Burgoon placed second with a throw of 48-5.50 and West Plains&#8217; Guerrero was fourth at 44-6.50. Canyon&#8217;s McKinley was eighth at at 40-1.75 and Canyon&#8217;s Renner was ninth at 39-10.00.
