The Dallas area has built a reputation for churning out some of the best basketball <\/a>players in the country, and this year, North Texas boasts two McDonald\u2019s All Americans.<\/p>\n

Five-star Notre Dame signee Jacy Abii will represent Legion Prep in the girls game at 6 p.m CT, and four-star Texas signee Austin Goosby will represent Irving-based Dynamic Prep on Tuesday in the boys game at 7 p.m. CT at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Ariz.<\/p>\n

The all-star basketball showcase, which highlights the best high school seniors in the country, will be broadcast on ESPN.<\/p>\n

Abii, the state\u2019s top girls basketball recruit in the Class of 2026, earned all-area Player of the Year honors from The News <\/a>in 2024 after leading Frisco Liberty to back-to-back UIL state championships. Rated the ninth-best player in the nation by ESPN\u2019s HoopGurlz, Abii transferred to North Texas-based Legion Prep after her sophomore season, when she averaged 20.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.1 blocks to help Liberty to its second straight Class 5A state title.<\/p>\n

The phenom missed her junior season with a torn ACL, but she returned to Legion Prep for her senior year.<\/p>\n

Goosby, who transferred from Melissa to Jermaine O\u2019Neal\u2019s Dynamic Prep for his senior season, is rated the second-best player in Texas and 28th-best in the nation in the Class of 2026, according to 247Sports. In 2025, he earned first team all-area honors from The Dallas Morning News after his junior season at Melissa, where he averaged 20 points, 8.1 rebounds and 4.3 assists to pick up District 9-5A MVP honors.<\/p>\n

Dynamic Prep\u2019s leading scorer with an average of 17 points per game, Goosby will help the nationally-ranked program compete for a national championship at this year\u2019s Chipotle Nationals.<\/a> The prestigious, invite-only tournament runs from April 1-4 at Hamilton Southeastern High School in the Indianapolis area.<\/p>\n
