Police also learned Evans was on probation for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Randolph served 29 years with the Fort Worth Police Department. His former chief, Neil Noakes, said the loss would alter the department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThere is no excuse for drinking and driving,\u201d Noakes said after Evans\u2019 arrest, per CBS. \u201cIt is too easy to make plans beforehand or just use a ride service. Ms. Evans made a decision.
