It\u2019s only Tuesday, so we\u2019ll get a clearer picture as we get closer. But if you\u2019re trying to plan now, let\u2019s talk about Sunday\u2019s forecast. Right now, we\u2019re 5 days out.<\/p>\n

7-10 days out we look at the extended long-range models for large scale patterns.<\/p>\n
3-5 days out we start to get within the short to medium-range window, we can start to fine-tune timing within reason.<\/p>\n
1-3 days we shift to short range timing where we can focus on start and end times.<\/p>\n
24 hours – we have the ability to be more precise<\/p>\n
Now\/Hand tracking in the now: We follow the storm in real time.<\/p>\n

The Euro: Has the front moving into the Houston area in the overnight hours into the early morning. <\/p>\n
The American: Has the front making it\u2019s way into Houston around 11 am.<\/p>\n
So while things can and will change the closer we get, even the models, we\u2019ll keep updating you as we get closer. <\/p>\n

Right now the SPC, storm prediciton center shows no elevated severe weather threat but we\u2019ll check back tomorrow and we\u2019ll have an evern better undersating on threat and timing before the weekend.<\/p>\n
