We&#8217;ll miss this.&#8221;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tigerlillyatx.com\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">Tiger Lilly<\/a>, located at 400 Colorado Street, just one block from Congress Avenue, is known for hosting locals and entertaining groups of people from out of town for private events.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The cocktail lounge, owned by Pursuit Concepts, an Austin-based hospitality group, first <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/food\/article\/tiger-lilly-austin-estelles-19913400.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">opened in November 2024<\/a>. Before that, the space was Estelle&#8217;s, a bar owned by NoCo Hospitality, that shuttered suddenly in September 2023 only a few months after opening that May.<\/p>\n<p>A year after Estelle&#8217;s closed, Tiger Lilly transformed the space for events like its basement speakeasy filled with luxurious greens, pinks and contemporary decor mixed with a vintage hotel-like feel. The three-story venue hosted\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DSBUCDlgTbg\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">holiday pop-ups like Frosty\u2019s Christmas Bar<\/a> with themed decor and cocktails as well as resident DJs like Saint Spicer and Alex Alfonso playing music for events at night.<\/p>\n<p>Several Austinites reacted to Tiger Lilly&#8217;s closure in\u00a0the venue&#8217;s comment section like Instagram user @mia_vassallo who wrote, &#8220;why can the businesses at this address stay open?!&#8221; Another user @sydgaw also\u00a0claimed, &#8220;i&#8217;m supposed to have my wedding there in july lol?&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Other users like @alissasimino said, &#8220;Ughh.
