According to filing<\/a> with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, construction is scheduled to be complete on the 2,650-square-foot space in early October, though Smithers said he is aiming for a Sept. 4 opening to coincide with Labor Day weekend.<\/p>\n “We plan to bring authentic Texas barbecue, a full bar and a spacious outdoor patio to the community,” Smithers said. “The addition of a full-service bar and a large patio space will create an environment perfect for everything, from casual lunches to evening gatherings.”<\/p>\n The restaurant is located in the same space that housed Shine it Auto Detail<\/a> before the shop moved<\/a> to West Parkway Street in December.
