Plano East<\/a> waltzed into their match on Friday with four straight wins… but they left with five. They came out on top against the McKinney Lions<\/a> by a score of 3-1. That’s the second time they’ve managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.<\/p>\n Plano East had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-23.<\/p>\n Plano East was led to victory by Dakota Huynh<\/a> and Addison Tucker<\/a>. Huynh had 31 digs and five assists, while Tucker had nine digs and three aces. That’s the most digs Huynh has posted since back in August.<\/p>\n Plano East’s victory bumped their record up to 28-10. As for McKinney, they have been struggling recently as they’ve lost three of their last four contests. That’s put a noticeable dent in their 15-21 record this season.<\/p>\n After both having extra time off, Plano East and Hebron will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. McKinney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.<\/p>\n
