The free, family-friendly event will run from\u00a012:00 PM to 7:00 PM\u00a0along the historic West Main Street corridor, just steps from City Hall and the Arlington Public Library.<\/p>\n<p>Known as one of the largest and most eclectic arts festivals in Arlington, the\u00a0West Main Arts Fest\u00a0brings together\u00a070+ visual artists,\u00a025+ local musicians and performers, food trucks, artisan vendors, and interactive activities in a dynamic street festival atmosphere.Families, kids, and even pets are welcome \u2014 and attendees are encouraged to bring pets and lawn chairs to enjoy a full day of performances and activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis isn\u2019t just a festival\u2014it\u2019s a celebration of Arlington\u2019s creative soul,\u201d said festival founder and Create Texas director\u00a0Mark Joeckel. \u201cWhether you\u2019re discovering new music, buying art, or just soaking in the energy of our downtown, there\u2019s something for everyone here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Highlights Include:<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<br \/>\nThree Live Music Stages\u00a0featuring jazz, rock, indie, acoustic, and youth performances&#13;<br \/>\n70+ artist booths\u00a0showcasing painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, jewelry, and more&#13;<br \/>\nInteractive art zones\u00a0for kids and families&#13;<br \/>\nLive painting demos, murals, and hands-on workshops&#13;<br \/>\nLocal food trucks and craft vendors\u00a0offering everything from tacos to cold brew&#13;<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s festival builds on the success of past events, which have attracted\u00a045,000+ attendees and generated over\u00a0$500,000 in local economic impact.
