The group is coming to Houston on the Culture 2000 tour which is a celebration of early 2000s culture. This re-imagining through song of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII won the Tony Award for best original score and the Outer Critics Circle Award for best musical.<\/p>\n Where: The Hobby Center, 800 Bagby<\/p>\n Details: $55 and up; thehobbycenter.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n ‘Mr. Nobody Against Putin’<\/p>\n Teacher Pavel Talankin films his students in a scene from the documentary “Mr. Nobody Against Putin,” which he co-directed with David Borenstein.<\/p>\n Kino Lorber<\/p>\n David\u00a0Borenstein and Pavel Talankin’s “Mr. Nobody Against Putin” won the best documentary feature Oscar at this year’s Academy Awards and now Houstonians have a chance to see what the fuss is about. The documentary follows Russian teacher Pavel Talankin as he struggles with the increasing militarization of his student body during his country’s war with Ukraine.
