Spring is in the air and Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture has a month filled with fun activities for all!<\/p>\n
Easter B’Egg Day – Friday, April 3\u00a0<\/p>\n
Bring all your family and furry friends out to join us for a fun Easter event at Beacon Recreation Center. There will be music, vendors, contests and more from 5-8 PM. This event is for everyone and costs $3 per person.<\/p>\n
Register for Easter B’Egg Day!<\/a><\/p>\n Underwater Eggstravaganza – Friday, April 3\u00a0<\/p>\n Come join us for our Fourth Annual EAST Underwater EGGstravaganza! Children will be able to hunt for eggs in the water and collect a prize at the end!\u00a0\u00a0Please take note of the following egg hunt times per age group: ages 3-5 years: 6:00pm-6:30pm; ages 6-9 years: 6:45pm-7:15pm; ages 10-12 years: 7:30pm -8:00pm. This event costs $8 per swimmer.<\/p>\n Register for Underwater Eggstravaganza!<\/a><\/p>\n Tents and Tales – Friday, April 3 to Saturday, April 4<\/p>\n Join us for a night under the stars as we camp out at River Legacy Park. Make sure to pack your tents and sleeping bags as we set out for wilderness right here in the city! The night will include dinner, a movie under the stars, sleeping bag story time and a good old fashion camping sing along. The movie we will be watching is Lilo & Stitch (2025). This event is will be held from 3 PM Friday \u2013 8 AM Saturday and costs $15 per person. Kids 2 and under are FREE.<\/p>\n Register for Tents and Tales!<\/a><\/p>\n East Creek Clean Up – Saturday, April 4<\/p>\n Help beautify Bob Cooke Park as we remove trash and debris from our creek. Gloves, trash pickers, and all other supplies are provided. Whether you need community service hours or you just want to give back, we encourage everyone to come and help us make our park clean. This FREE event is from 9-11 AM for all ages (kids 12 and under must have a parent\/guardian present).<\/p>\n Register for East Creek Clean Up!<\/a><\/p>\n Community Garage Sale & Market\u00a0– Saturday, April 4<\/p>\n Don\u2019t miss the chance to connect with your neighbors, support local vendors and businesses, and enjoy Cliff Nelson Park! This family-friendly, FREE event is from 9 AM-12 PM.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hop & Pop Nerf Eggstravaganza\u00a0– Friday, April10<\/p>\n Hunt eggs, dodge darts, and compete in fun Nerf games. Elzie Odom Athletic Center will provide the ammo, just bring your blasters! \u00a0We\u2019ll provide the ammo \u2013 you bring your blasters! This FREE action-packed Easter event begins at 5 PM and is perfect for kids ages 5 and up.<\/p>\n Register for Hop & Pop Nerf Eggstravaganza!<\/a><\/p>\n Bunny Hops and Spring Snapshots\u00a0– Saturday, April 11<\/p>\n Starting at 10:30 AM. families can strike a pose with the Easter Bunny or enjoy a spring-themed backdrop at East Library and Recreation Center for just $10 per family.\u00a0<\/p>\n Register for Bunny Hops & Spring Snapshots!<\/a><\/p>\n Bass Classic – Saturday, April 18<\/p>\n Show off your angler skills at the 12th Annual Bass Classic at Lake Arlington. This event starts at 6:30 AM and is perfect for all ages, however kids ages 17 and under must have a parent\/guardian authorization on registration form. A current 2026 boat permit is required.<\/p>\n
