HOUSTON\u00a0\u2013 The Rice women’s track and field team will have several athletes competing this weekend at the Texas Relays, starting Thursday afternoon in Austin, Texas.

\nSaniya Friendly<\/a> is slated to compete in the 100m after winning the event last weekend at the Victor Lopez Classic with a time of 11.79s.
\n\u00a0
\nMikayla Wills<\/a> will race in the 100m hurdles, where she was sixth last weekend with a time of 14.18s. Sydney Freeman<\/a> will race in the 400m hurdles, with a season best time of 1:00.18 to start the season at UH.
\n\u00a0
\nRice’s 4×400 squad returns to the track after starting the season with one of the top times in the American Conference (3:41.65) last weekend.

\nThe Owls will have a full team outing at Texas A&M next weekend.
