SAN ANTONIO – A 31-year-old man was killed early Wednesday morning in a targeted East Side shooting that police say involved multiple weapons and at least 80 rounds fired.<\/p>\n
The attack occurred just after 1 a.m. on Center Street between North Walters and North Gevers Streets. Investigators said the man was shot numerous times in both his upper and lower body.<\/p>\n
He was pronounced dead at the scene. <\/p>\n
Witnesses reported hearing the gunfire and saw a black sedan leaving the scene. Police said the man was likely targeted and that at least two different weapons were used, including a high-powered rifle. Officers recovered numerous shell casings at the scene.<\/p>\n
The hail of bullets also struck two homes and a vehicle in the area. No arrests have been made so far.<\/p>\n
