The Austin Police (APD) Aggravated Assault Unit is requesting the public’s help in identifying three suspects connected to an Aggravated Assault that occurred on Saturday, February 28, 2026.<\/p>\n
At 1:19 a.m., APD officers responded to reports of a Disturbance at Lowdown Lounge located at 1412 East 6th Street. The call text stated that a male had been assaulted and was bleeding from the head. When officers arrived on the scene, they located an adult male victim with wounds to his head. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n
The preliminary investigation indicates that three males, without provocation, began assaulting three other males inside the bar. As a result of the attack, one of the victims sustained serious bodily injury. APD is releasing video footage of the assault in the hope that members of the community can assist in identifying the suspects.
