TxDOT confirmed the high-severity crash at 3:57 p.m., initially shutting down all three lanes and both shoulders before reopening most of them. The far right lane and shoulder remain closed at I-35 and Watson Lane East as of 4:22 p.m. Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic site SigAlert describes the crash area as I-35 (Northeast Side) North between Watson Lane\/Exit 195 and FM-1102\/Exit 196. Traffic is reportedly backed up to FM-306\/Exit 191, with delays up to 30 minutes expected as drivers are forced onto the frontage road.<\/p>\n<p>For those unfamiliar with Texas maps, the crash occurred just past the Buc-ee&#8217;s at 2760 I-35, New Braunfels, TX 78130.<\/p>\n<p>This is a developing story, and MySA will update as more information is received.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A crash has totally shut down one of Texas&#8217; busiest highways on Wednesday afternoon.
