After sunset, storms will merge and move east into North and Central Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Strong winds and large hail are possible, mainly for areas near and west the Interstate 35 corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Storm timing will be from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 2 a.m. Thursday, April 2, for areas west of the Metroplex like Cisco and Graham. Timing for Dallas-Fort Worth proper will be from 1-6 a.m. Thursday. Areas to the east, like Canton and Palestine, will see storms between 5-10 a.m. Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>As storms move eastward, they will gradually weaken and eventually exit the area to the southeast Thursday morning, according to the NWS.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd25 In case you missed it&#8230; <\/p>\n<p>        Stormy Easter weekend ahead<\/p>\n<p>More widespread showers and storms are in the forecast for Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4.<\/p>\n<p>Some of these storms could become strong to severe with large hail, damaging winds and tornadoes all possible, according to the NWS. Heavy rain is also in the mix, which could lead to flooding in some areas.<\/p>\n<p>Areas across the Metroplex have a 10-20% chance of receiving more than 3 inches of rain with the weekend storms.<\/p>\n<p>By Easter Sunday, April 5, most of the rain will clear out with low chances hanging around for Central Texas.
