The Fort Worth dining scene in March celebrated a handful of new restaurant openings, hosted multiple celebrity diners and discovered a few new digs on the docket.<\/p>\n

We spotted celebrities like Napolean Dynamite and Pedro at Terry Black\u2019s<\/a> on West 7th ordering practically the whole menu. NBA legend, Shaq, was spotted at Nana\u2019s Kitchen<\/a> where owner Toshia \u201cNana\u201d Ramsey was seen smacking O\u2019Neal on the butt. And pop-star Conan Gray<\/a> made an appearance at Match Point Coffee before his world tour stop at Dickies Arena.<\/p>\n

Our Eats Beat reporter Bud Kennedy released his list of where to get Easter brunch for under $30,<\/a> as well as a list of where to eat in Fort Worth<\/a>, since Texas Monthly\u2019s \u201cWhere to Eat Now\u201d list lacked North Texas representation.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s a lot to cover. So here\u2019s a roundup of our best bites in March, what new restaurants opened and what to keep your eye out for.<\/p>\n

Same menu, new location.Loma TXMX<\/a>: A new Tex-Mex concept from pitmaster Brandon Hurtado of Huratdo Barbecue opened in the old El Tiempo Cantina under Choctaw Stadium (across from Loews Arlington Hotel).Heim Pig Stand<\/a>: Heim BBQ on Magnolia closed its storefront and opened a budget friendly concept with chopped barbecue sandwiches and sides.Cafe Mirador<\/a>: This cafe is tucked inside the Forty Five Ten luxury boutique in West 7th. It\u2019s an abbreviated version of the Mirador rooftop restaurant in downtown Dallas, serving caviar on deviled eggs and omelettes.Benito\u2019s Taqueria<\/a> (Diamond Hill): A neighborhood favorite taco spot reopened after a year of being closed due to a kitchen fire.Sweet Sugar High<\/a>: This award-winning burger food truck secured a permanent brick and mortar location at 904 W. Northside Drive. Their restaurant is still under renovations, but the truck can be found parked at the new property.Original Chop Shop<\/a>: A salad and bowl shop opened in the Medical district serving smoothies, protein shakes and fresh meals made from whole ingredients. \"The The Lobster Roll at Mirador in Dallas on Oct. 14, 2025 will be served at Cafe Mirador in Fort Worth. The menu will be the same, serving chicken fried steak and crab eggs benedict, but offer differing daily specials.Bella Italia<\/a>: This 38-year-old Fort Worth restaurant will move for the fourth time to a new location at 6115 Camp Bowie Blvd. They are slated to reopen sometime in the spring.The Londoner: Geared towards soccer fans rolling in for the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournaments at AT&T Stadium, a Dallas-area British pub and soccer hangout will open at 1409 N. Collins St., less than a mile from the stadium.Th\u00e9odore\u2019s Steak & Seafood<\/a>: upscale steakhouse will open in the former Campo Verde Mexican Bar & Grill with aged wagyu beef, lobster and chicken parmesean.Silver Sea Sushi<\/a>: From the same owners as Bleu Bear Sushi in Bedford comes an upscale concept in Flower Mound. Silver Sea will offer $200 sea urchin or $160 wagyu. But customers can also stroll in for $15 wagyu dumplings.Beren Mezza and Grill House<\/a>: Beren Mediterranean is moving locations and changing names to Beren Mezza and Grill House. They will serve mezza starters with kebabs, salads and gyros. Of course, also baklava. <\/p>\n
