Longtime Houston newsman Frank Billingsley\u00a0is leaving his role as co-host of Houston Public Media’s<\/a> “Hello Houston,” a little over a year after the multiplatform talk show launched, according to the news outlet. <\/p>\n

Billinsgley, who joined the Houston Public Media in 2024 as an executive producer, was a key contributor in the launch of the “Hello Houston,” which celebrated its first anniversary last month, said Laurie Johnson Ramirez, the outlet’s station manager.<\/p>\n

The show’s other hosts are Celeste Diaz Schurman and Ernie Manouse.<\/p>\n

“We want to thank Frank for his energy, creativity and dedication over the last year and a half,” Ramirez said in a written statement. “I am sure our radio, digital and\u00a0YouTube audience will agree with me that he has made an indelible mark on Houston Public Media and Hello Houston.”<\/p>\n

Information was not available on why Billingsley is leaving the show or next steps. He\u00a0has not said anything publicly about the move.<\/p>\n

Billingsley has been on television since 1989 and left Houston TV station KPRC in 2024.<\/p>\n
