The Texas judge caught tearing into an IT worker in a now-viral video<\/a> demanded he be shown respect as a \u201cduly elected judge\u201d and ordered a \u201csubordinate\u201d to do their job in newly surfaced emails.<\/p>\n

Harris County Civil Court Judge Nathan Milliron aired his frustration in at least two heated exchanges with District Clerk Marilyn Burgess, outraged at the office\u2019s \u201cineptitude,\u201d emails obtained by Click 2 Houston revealed<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy court will no longer be stagnant because of DCO\u2019s ineptitude,\u201d Milliron wrote in one email from May 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cTHIS IS NO LONGER AN ASK. GET ME A CLERK THAT RESPONDS TO ME and does the job!\u201d<\/p>\n

Milliron then demanded that he receive the \u201csame respect as any other judge in the courthouse,\u201d noting to Burgess that he is a \u201cduly elected judge.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m not presently getting it. Fix this by Monday,\u201d he ordered.<\/p>\n

In another August 2025 email obtained by the outlet, Milliron called out a district clerk\u2019s office employee and another official identified only as Lisa \u2014 flatly labeling her his \u201csubordinate.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLisa \u2014 you got an e-mail today\u2026 right? Own it. I\u2019m the District Judge and your (sic) are absolutely a subordinate. You have someone that wants to be in 215th \u2026 you can\u2019t stomach it\u2026 right? I will,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n

Milliron aired his frustration in at least two heated exchanges with District Clerk Marilyn Burgess, outraged at the office\u2019s \u201cineptitude.\u201d Facebook\/ Nathan J. Milliron<\/p>\n

He then told Lisa that Burgess \u201cdoesn\u2019t need to like it,\u201d insisting the employee needs to do their job.<\/p>\n

Milliron demanded that another employee be immediately assigned to him, closing out the tense email with \u201cTHAT IS AN ORDER!\u201d<\/p>\n

The emails surfaced amid mounting backlash over explosive courtroom exchanges in two viral videos in which he was seen berating an IT worker and threatening to cuff a defense attorney.<\/p>\n

Milliron has served on the bench in the 215th District Court since January 2025. Facebook\/ Nathan J. Milliron<\/p>\n

Beyond his courtroom conduct and combative emails, Milliron is now facing scrutiny over his compliance with state ethics laws, according to Click 2 Houston.<\/p>\n

Texas Ethics Commission records obtained by the outlet show Milliron is delinquent on two required filings \u2014 a campaign finance report and a personal financial disclosure report.<\/p>\n

Records show Milliron is facing a $1,000 civil penalty for missed campaign finance filings and a $500 fine for failing to submit required personal financial disclosures.<\/p>\n

Milliron\u2019s courtroom conduct has also prompted attorneys to speak out against his behavior.<\/p>\n

Attorney James Stafford was ordered by Milliron to appear in his courtroom next week<\/a> after emailing the judge and urging him to apologize for how he treated the IT worker.<\/p>\n
