The nearly 300-room hotel is the latest addition to the Tribute Portfolio, Marriott Bonvoy\u2019s collection of independent hotels.<\/p>\n<p class=\"uiTextSmall f aic jcc\">Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n<p>Updates to the hotel include redesigned guest quarters and two new dining options.<\/p>\n<p>The first is Verse Kitchen &amp; Bar, which features specialty cocktails like The Tequila Mockingbird, plus signature programming including Verse Vinyl Brunch and ConVERSEations, a monthly discussion series celebrating Texas\u2019 creative culture. The second is Raven, an after-dark speakeasy.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel will also offer curated packages like The Pony Express, an SMU game-day weekend experience that includes a welcome amenity, valet parking, breakfast for two and late checkout on Sunday. The property was most recently renovated in 2021 as part of a mixed-use project that included the construction of the 28-story\u00a0Eastline Residences apartment high-rise. However, in an X post after the announcement, the company said it wouldn\u2019t be moving forward with the Baltimore project after initial meetings with regulators.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The Boring Company said in the post that it had great meetings with regulators for the University Hills Loop and hoped to submit a permit application in April. The shell of the office building is expected to finish by the summer 2027.
